Dormeyer Deep Fat Fryers

Dormeyer were better known for their food mixers than deep fryers. In the 1920s they introduced a box-like hand-held device with a beater designed to allow it to stand freely in the bowl.

The Dormeyer range of kitchen appliances were never very stylish and their stodgy image made most of their products seem dated within the first year of manufacture.

They went out of business in the 60s, but collectors and enthusiasts still look for their products where ever they turn up.
